Terms of Service

Welcome to Soundcards. These Terms of Service dictate the rules for participating in the Soundcards ecosystem, operated by Hoop Interactive. By playing, you agree to these guidelines.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Soundcards account or participate in public lobbies. If your jurisdiction requires an older age for digital consent, those rules apply instead.
2. PLAYER CONDUCT & SAFETY
Soundcards is a party game designed for fun and discovery. Hate speech, targeted harassment, severely offensive custom prompts, or any attempt to exploit the platform will result in an immediate ban. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and any content that endangers minors; violations are removed, banned, and reported to the relevant authorities. 3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
No music rights are granted to players. Soundcards acts purely as a communal remote control for your external streaming accounts. Do not attempt to rip, record, or illegally distribute audio played within the app.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING
Soundcards Plus is an auto-renewable subscription (Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly) that unlocks unlimited games and premium features. Each plan begins with a 7-day free trial, after which it automatically renews at the listed price until cancelled. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account; manage or cancel anytime in your store account at least 24 hours before the period ends. Free play is limited to 5 games.
5. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We aim for high uptime, but our services rely on third-party music and infrastructure providers. We are not liable for downtime caused by Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, or hosting outages.
6. ACCOUNT TERMINATION & DELETION
You may delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing romone@soundcardsgame.com. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how deletion is handled.
7. DISCLAIMER, LIABILITY & GOVERNING LAW
Soundcards is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoop Interactive is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Soundcards is operated from the United Kingdom, and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
